Ongoing Specials

Fotoprint offers three types of 'Ongoing Specials':

Digital (100-250-500), Offset (1000+), and Large Format

All of our print processes are the latest of their respective technologies. Click here to learn the differences between digital and offset.

Digital (100-250-500)

  • Good quality.
  • Inexpensive for smaller quantities.
  • Super fast turnaround times. See production schedule below*.
  • The toner may crack on the edges and folds if not uv coated.
  • Registration of an image cannot be highly critical as very slight skewing may occur.
  • Should not be fed through a copier or laser printer. The toner may melt, causing damage to the printer and the printed piece :(
  • Heat and/or pressure may cause the toner to transfer to the back of the following sheet/card if not protected by uv coating.
  • Can be round cornered.
  • Can be uv coated, which will minimize the heat/pressure and cracking issues of toner based printing (mentioned above) as well as adding a uniform, protective gloss.

Offset (1000+)

  • Great quality. High image resolution for reproduction of colour graphics and photos (perfect for fussy people :)
  • Inexpensive for higher quantities.
  • Longer turnaround times. See production schedule below**.
  • More durable.
  • More colour accurate and consistent to the digital file.
  • Precise image registration which ensures accurate cutting.
  • Enviro friendly offset print process. See our Environmental Management Plan.
  • Can be round cornered.
  • Cannot be uv coated.

Prices are based on supplied print ready digital files in PDF format and include one set of proofs. Modifications and/or additional proofs will be subject to extra charges. HST extra. Delivery extra.

Please note: 'Digital' printing is a generic term used by small copy shops to commercial printers. Digital presses/copiers/printers are not all created equal and most are not colour accurate. Please be cautious when buying and comparing prices for digital printing as print quality and colour accuracy may differ widely. Always ask for samples or a proof to make sure your expectations are met.
